MMTB!

I want this website to emphasize user-driven, hand-written (or hand-drawn) content alongside my goal of paying off debt with your 25-cent donations. So, I am asking you to send a hand-crafted letter along with your quarter. You can write about anything you want, or you can participate in the monthly challenge.

MMTB Challenge for June 2009: Have you ever had a dream that was so ridiculous that you couldn't help but remember it? Tell me about the craziest dream you've ever had. Whoever shares the most fantastic story will be declared June's champion of dreams, and, as always, will be sent a hand-written, personalized, Allen-Gilbert-original congratulatory letter if he or she provides a return address!

If you think this month's challenge is lame, don't fret: there are plenty of other things to write about. Also, don't limit yourself to writing...I'd love to see a bunch of artwork as well! Here are a few letter-content suggestions:

• Make a list of things that frustrate you
• Make a list of things you never want to do
• Draw a picture of your favorite animal
• Describe your vision of and/or predictions for the future
• Write a biographical sketch of someone you admire
• Answer one or more of these questions
• Write a poem
• Provide a caption for this picture
• Divulge a secret (you can certainly stay anonymous as long as you don't put a return address on your envelope)
• Create an advertisement for your company, product, and/or service
